Katihar ist eine Stadt im indischen Bundesstaat Bihar.

Sie hat 243.232 Einwohner und ist der Verwaltungssitz des Distrikts Katihar. In der Nähe der Stadt läuft die Autobahn National Highway 81 (NH 81) vorbei.
